My family has enjoyed and taken advantage of so many of the Jewish opportunities provided by organizations in Greater Hartford – the former Bess and Paul Sigel Hebrew Academy, the Jewish Community Center, Beth El Temple, the Jewish Federation, the former Hebrew Home and Hospital and Summerwood. My life was made so much easier and richer by having all of these institutions available and I “owe” the community in return. I also want to ensure that others have the same Jewish choices that my family and I had. It is for that reason, notwithstanding, that I don’t live in the Hartford area anymore, that I have left a bequest for the Foundation.
