The Foundation Granted $4.8 Million in FY’23

Donors empower our community and our world to remain vibrant — today and forever. We are proud to steward their funds. Their support and partnership allowed us to award 1,159 grants totaling $4.8 million in FY’23. 

These grants provided over $3.35 million to local Jewish organizations, and more than $1.4 million to national Jewish organizations, as well as to local, national and international secular organizations.

We Invest Millions in Greater Hartford’s Vibrant Jewish Community

The Foundation’s grants to the local Jewish community includes more than $1 million to the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. We invest in unique programs and services that might not be possible without the Foundation’s support.

Foundation Issues Second Grant to Aid Ukrainian Jews 

The Foundation’s Trustees granted $25,000 to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukranian Jews and their neighbors in January 2023. This is the second grant issued by the Foundation to help those impacted by the war. The $25,000 grant went directly to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, a Jewish relief organization.  (Photo from WCK)
