We Invest Millions in Greater Hartford’s Vibrant Jewish Community

The Foundation’s grants to the local Jewish community includes more than $1 million to the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. We invest in unique programs and services that might not be possible without the Foundation’s support.

Grants Help the People of Israel

The Foundation’s Trustees approved an initial gift of $100,000 to kick off the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford’s Israel Emergency Campaign, to deliver humanitarian aid to people impacted by the horrific war in Israel. The local campaign is part of a national effort organized by the Jewish Federations of North America.

The Trustees also approved $25,000 for mental health support for the Jewish community across Greater Hartford, and $18,000 for urgent security needs, to due the war.
