We see our pledge to the Life and Legacy program as a meaningful and lasting benefit. We selected the Jewish Federation because it serves as an umbrella, supporting so many worthy organizations that reach people of all ages and stages of life.
We both grew up in families that embraced the value of Tikkun Olam, and we hope our example will inspire our grown children, and others in the community, to follow in our footsteps. In addition to giving financially, we have each dedicated time to serving our community—as synagogue presidents, with Roy continuing to serve on the Endowment Committee and me as the current Board Chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford.
We are deeply appreciative of the opportunities to give, especially during a time when we believe it is more important than ever to step up, be proud of our heritage, and strengthen the community we love.
