The Foundation Leads Life & Legacy Giving Initiative in Greater Hartford
The Foundation is proud to be spearheading the Harold Grinspoon Foundation’s Life & Legacy program in Greater Hartford. Life & Legacy assists communities across North America to promote after-lifetime giving to build endowments that will provide financial stability to local Jewish organizations. Through training, support and monetary incentives, this partnership motivates Jewish organizations to secure legacy gifts, steward donors, and integrate legacy giving into the philanthropic culture of the Jewish community. The program has secured 480 commitments and $14.6 million in estimated future after-lifetime gifts to help secure a strong future for Jewish Hartford, and $1.4 million has already been realized in gifts to funds at the Jewish Community Foundation.
