Empowering Our Community…One Grant at a Time

SINCE 1972, the Foundation and our donors have made grants to programs and charitable institutions, both Jewish and in the community-at-large—in Greater Hartford, in the U.S., and around the world.
The Foundation awarded $6.8 million in grants in fiscal year 2025 through the generosity of our donors who established funds with the Foundation to sustain a vibrant Jewish community while repairing the world. Nearly 1,500 grants supported organizations across many levels of impact:
- $4.6 million to local Jewish organizations, which includes $1.6 million to the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford
- $2.2 million to national Jewish and secular organizations
Philanthropy expresses hope for the world you wish to see.
The Foundation helps donors choose which fund will support their vision, goals and values.
