A Legacy-Building Partnership

The Jewish Community Foundation's Leave a Jewish Legacy program is a unique results-oriented program designed to raise awareness of the importance of legacy giving and recognize donors for creating lasting legacies for our community. Today, 21 local agencies, schools and synagogues are working together with the Foundation to build for the future.  Through the Foundation's Fundraising Academy workshops and training sessions, individual consultations and marketing materials, participating organizations learn how to start bequest programs and effectively communicate the legacy message to their constituents.  Many families have already stepped forward and made plans to leave bequests for the Greater Hartford Jewish community and the agencies they care most about.
