Giving That Makes a Difference
Every year, the Jewish Community Foundation distributes more than $3 million to qualified charities in the form of grants from unrestricted, donor advised and designated funds that carry out donor charitable intentions and respond to community needs.
Grants from unrestricted community funds are awarded through a competitive grant application process. Grants from donor advised funds are made upon the recommendation of donors, after review by the Foundation. Grants from designated funds are made to meet the charitable interests expressed by donors.
The Jewish Community Foundation also administers endowment funds dedicated to providing need-based financial assistance to Jewish students for college and graduate school education and for qualified educational and internship programs in Israel.
