As a center for Jewish philanthropy in Greater Hartford, the Jewish Community Foundation:

• Works with individuals and families to create meaningful personal legacies
• Empowers donors to convert generous ideas into deliberate action
• Addresses community needs through strategic and high impact grantmaking
• Partners with donors and community organizations to sustain a vibrant and secure community

Vision

The Jewish Community Foundation envisions a thriving and vibrant Jewish community of the future.  The Foundation’s assets will be used to address changing community needs and fulfill donors’ charitable dreams.  It will do so by leveraging its resources, developing collaborative partnerships and increasing donor engagement.  We will cultivate new donors and encourage a spirit of philanthropic giving across the community, while building endowments and legacies to assure our continued growth
